At Eastern Creek Pioneers Netball Club, we believe anyone can be a great umpire. No prior experience is needed! We're committed to teaching and guiding you throughout the netball season. We provide the support you need to develop your skills and confidence on the court.

Umpiring requirements

To become a qualified umpire, you will need to complete the following steps:

Create an account for Netball Australia Learning Centre: Netball Australia Learning Centre
Complete both the Foundation Umpire Course and Rules of Netball Exam via the Netball Australia Learning Centre (the club will reimburse you of the fee)
Achieve a minimum pass rate of 70% in both the course and the exam
Keep a record of both certificates for your personal records.

Umpire Badge Levels

Umpire badge levels are set out and followed by BCNA: Gold, Black, Junior White, White and National C. The EC Pioneers club umpire convenor will assess the readiness of an umpire and notify said umpire when umpire badging will occur.
